Our International Year One Computing students at the UEL International Study Centre were delighted to attend an inspiring talk delivered by Dr Halima Kure, Senior Lecturer at the University of East London. Dr Kure shared her expertise and insights on career paths in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence, offering students a deeper understanding of the exciting opportunities these rapidly evolving fields present.
During the session, Dr Halima Kure discussed the diverse range of professional roles available within the tech industry and highlighted the essential skills and knowledge students can develop through their studies at UEL. She also emphasised the growing global demand for computing professionals, encouraging students to explore emerging areas such as AI ethics, data protection, and digital innovation.

Students found the talk highly engaging and were able to ask questions about potential career pathways, industry expectations, and the importance of continuous learning in a fast-changing technological landscape.
