We are excited to announce that we have now welcomed over 1,000 international students for this academic year, making the UEL ISC one of the largest pathway centres in the UK!

To celebrate our new cohort of over 500 students for January, we planned an engaging and welcoming Induction Week. The week was packed with sessions designed to help our students settle in and start their academic journey in the UK.

Key highlights included fun icebreakers, a lively quiz, and a campus tour, all aimed at helping students familiarise themselves with their new environment. In addition, students had the opportunity to meet the academic and support teams, giving them a chance to connect with the people and resources that will support them throughout their studies.

Sessions included:

Careers Session with UEL’s Career Zone: Students received valuable advice on navigating their career paths and utilising the opportunities available at UEL.

Wellbeing Workshop: Essential tips were shared on maintaining a healthy study-life balance to support students’ overall wellbeing.

Study Goals & Time Management Session: Aimed at helping students set realistic study goals and manage their time effectively for the academic year ahead.

With over 1,000 students now at UEL ISC, it’s wonderful to see the centre growing and thriving. The strong start to this year reflects our commitment to supporting students in every aspect of their academic and personal development.

We’re excited to see what’s ahead for this vibrant and diverse group of students and wish them all the best for a successful year at UEL ISC!
