At UEL ISC, we recently celebrated Diwali and Halloween, embracing the opportunity to come together as a community and learn about these vibrant traditions.
Wishing all our students, partners, and colleagues a bright and joyful Diwali! The Festival of Lights is a major Hindu celebration that signifies the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Families across the world celebrate Diwali by decorating their homes with candles and lanterns, exchanging gifts, and enjoying delicious food. It is a time for new beginnings, with prayers for prosperity, happiness, and success in the year ahead.

Alongside Diwali, we also celebrated Halloween, a fun and spooky tradition that originated from ancient Celtic festivals and has become a worldwide celebration. Halloween is all about dressing up in creative costumes, carving pumpkins, and indulging in sweets. It’s a time for thrilling fun and a bit of spooky mischief!
Our celebrations at UEL ISC included a festive quiz, where students had the chance to learn more about these traditions. This was a fantastic opportunity for our diverse student body to come together, share their unique cultures, and celebrate in a fun and inclusive way. The event was filled with laughter, learning, and shared experiences, reflecting the spirit of unity and joy at UEL ISC.
We wish everyone in our community a happy Diwali and hope you enjoyed the Halloween fun!
