As part of our International Women’s Day event, students from shared their thoughts and reflections on female figures who have inspired them, whether personal role models or influential historical leaders.
Here’s what some of our students had to share:

Ambika spoke passionately about Rani of Jhansi, a symbol of bravery and resilience. She described how this fearless leader, often regarded as the first woman of Indian independence, inspired her from a young age. “Her courage and strength resonate with me,” Ambika shared, adding that her mother is also a key inspiration in her life, shaping who she is today. “She’s the bravest woman I know,” Ambika said, urging us all to respect the women around us.

Muhammad reflected on the vital role women play in our lives. “Whether it’s a sister, mother, or teacher, we need to value the women around us,” he said. He highlighted how women bring comfort and understanding, providing support when it’s needed most. “The comfort level that women give and how they listen is something extraordinary.”

Reeham spoke about Princess Reema Bandar Al-Saud, a pioneer for women’s rights in Saudi Arabia. She admired her work in advocating for women’s inclusion in sports, education, and the workforce. Reeham added “her journey shows me that progress is not only possible, but attainable, especially for women.”
The stories shared by our students highlight the enduring strength and influence of women, both past and present. Their courage and leadership inspire us all to honour and appreciate the women who shape our world every day
