UEL International Study Centre staff joined our students in celebrating their achievements in our final farewell of this academic year recently.
Our students took a welcome break from their revision for final assessments to mark the end of their teaching. ISC Academic Director, Andreia Areal, greeted our audience and opened proceedings, before our student course representatives took their turns in expressing their gratitude to their teachers and support staff at the centre. Our students commented on how prepared they now felt to proceed to their degree courses at the University and during the celebrations, ISC staff congratulated our students on their achievements in and out of the classroom during their time at the Study Centre.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation to the ISC team of photos from each class, together with thank you notes from our students. Mythili Theivendran, Student Services Manager, explained ‘the whole staff team were thrilled to receive these kind messages, together with the photo mementoes of each class, from our students marking the end of their time at the ISC. We wish our Class of January 2024 all the very best for their futures at UEL and beyond and look forward to their successors arriving in September!’
