Our students at UEL International Study Centre had the pleasure of meeting Arish Sidiqqui, Head of Collaborative Partnerships at UEL, during an engaging meet and greet session with International Foundation Programme and International Year One Computer Science students. Arish shared valuable insights into the degree programmes that students have chosen to progress to at the University of East London next year.
During the session, Arish discussed the wide range of opportunities available at UEL, including academic pathways, career development prospects, and the skills students can expect to gain throughout their studies. The conversation provided students with a clearer understanding of how their current studies at the ISC prepare them for future success at university.
Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how UEL supports its diverse international community. Arish’s approachable and engaging style encouraged meaningful discussions, helping students feel more confident and excited about the next stage of their academic journey.
We would like to thank Arish Sidiqqui for taking the time to meet with our students and share his expertise. The session was both informative and inspiring, reinforcing UEL ISC’s commitment to preparing students for a smooth and successful transition to university life.
