The centre’s staff Get Ready Day was a perfect opportunity for our new starters to meet with our experienced members of teaching and support staff and to plan excellent learning, teaching and student support in-centre for our Foundation, International Year One and International Graduate Diploma students. The growth of our staff numbers dedicated to our students’ experience was shown by our traditional start of year photo – we’ll be looking for a larger location for this next year!

ISC students then joined their peers from across the University at its new student orientation week, which featured presentations from staff across UEL, and a world food market at lunchtime. Campus was alive with the energy of new joiners from around the world, and next week our ISC students will enjoy their own dedicated Welcome where staff will explain how we’ll support our students in their success throughout the upcoming academic year.

Centre Director, Simon Fitch, explained ‘we are very grateful to all our partners for your work in bringing students to our UEL International Study Centre. We can’t wait to help them realise their potential over the coming year and watch them progress to their University courses’.
