The International Study Centre at UEL has a range of Academic English programmes available to help you to build confidence in your language ability, and to ease you gently into higher education in the UK. With a manageable timetable, interactive inclusive classes, and weekly personal tutorial sessions, our teachers are here to support your journey onto your future studies every step of the way.
Each term consists of 25 hours of class time and will include topics like:
- Integrated Language Skills
- Teacher Supported Online Language Development
- Engagement and Communicative Language Skills
- Research and Study Skills
- Preparation for International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
- Topics for University Study
The recommended duration of the programme will depend on the learners IELTS level upon entry onto the programme.
